I woke up this morning to snow, and lots of it. For our readers in Utah, this is a rare occurrence in London at any time - but in April, it's mildly frightening. Plus I had to take Blue Boy to the vet for his final check-up on his knee. Blue Boy hates going to the vet already, but in this weather, poor kid...
Today the Olympic torch is flaming its way through London. Pro-Tibet protesters have been threatening to disrupt the event. Good for them. If the weather stays like this I think it will only be the torch, the torch carrier (no doubt using the flame to keep warm), a few protesters and an embarrassingly large number of Met Police to witness it. I will think about them all as I run my 2.5 hour training run on the treadmill in the warmth of my gym.
